The De Cecco Carnaroli rice is suitable for any vegetable risotto and in general for al delicate risotti. The cultivation of this rice starts in 1945 crossing the Violone and the Leoncino. The province of Pavia is specialised in the cultivation of this species and today over 60% of Canaroli is produced here. It belongs to the superfine category.
