Liguori Spaghettoni 500g
The Liguori family has been making pasta since 1796, when Gaetano Liguori first obtained a
licence from the Council of Gragnano to produce and sell Macaroni pasta. Following the passion, love and experience of pasta making in the Liguori family, the factory was established in 1820, making it one of the oldest in Italy.
From generation to generation, the art of making pasta has challenged technology without changing its characteristics, saving it’s flavour and culture. Liguori’s secret to maintaining the absolute highest quality pasta is by using the latest technologies with traditional methods, ancient bronze dyes, the best wheat from its land, and pure water from Gragnano. Gragnano is the native region for the production of pasta and is protected by the European Union, preserving materials and traditional methods of pasta making, recognised as I.G.P. (Indicazione Geografica Protetta or Protected Geographical Indication).
Liguori’s passion is to honour the ancestors and the authenticity of simple, natural and unique hard grain pasta, which is why Liguori is one of Italy’s finest and oldest I.G.P. pastas.
